Some of the Best 80s New Wave Bands Still Rock the Earth!

A few weeks ago I decided to take a look back and see what some of my favorite bands from the New Wave 80s had done after that magical time had passed.

Many bands have long since broken up or joined up with other projects, but I did find a lot of interesting production from many of the groups I really enjoyed, here are some examples for you to check out. Some of the songs are what you have come to expect, others have gone in new directions. Please listen, enjoy, and most importantly, support the bands that you still enjoy by visiting their sites, buying their music and attending their shows. Let me know what you think and have fun!

I see you have Some of the Best 80s New Wave Bands Still Rock the Earth! set to private. What happened?

Also here are some pointers to improve your experience.

-Whenever you have to re-upload a compilation, ALWAYS mention the song and artist that you had to remove. I find it ridiculous to find the removed artists listed on your OTHER pages (and even comment boards for your other compilations), instead of the re-uploaded compilation where it would make the most sense since you know, it was the compilation that once had it.

-The Mixcrate thing is a GREAT idea! But you haven't uploaded all the Best of the Hot 100's on there yet. Try to do that when you can so that way, we the viewers can listen to the original lineups as you intended them to be.

-Speaking of the Best of the Hot 100, I'm guessing this "Boo Wave" (*snicker*) thing is the reason why you didn't do one for October? Now you're gonna have to do two for either November or December if you want to have all the years covered before the end of the year like you mentioned somewhere else. Remaining years: 1981, 1987, 1989.

-Finally, the next time you do Bananarama (Bananarama vs. Guilty Gear characters, the dream match-ups!) on a New Wave Mix Tape, try to do one of the original songs from the 1989 Greatest Hits CD like Love, Truth and Honesty. Jacquie O'Sullivan deserves an appearance too you know.
