This is a refresh of a website that I have had for many years - it represents a very important time in my life and is the last vestige of Generic Male - a DJ "company" that provided a great deal of fun, pocket change, life lessons and lasting friendships to me and my GM partners for most of our college years and beyond.
In coming posts I hope to look back fondly at the time (1984 to 1989) and what was going on in my world, as well as thousands of other Radford University students and millions of other folks at schools throughout the country.
If you haven't done so already, please take a quick look at the 2003 Roanoke Times article that I have posted elsewhere on this site - I think writer and RU alumni Ralph Berrier did a terrific job, vividly painting the picture of the nightlife and experiences of the time, and it all lines up very well with my own recollections.
