God, I'm old.
Actually, getting older by the day.
This Saturday, I will mark the 60th anniversary of my arrival to this existence, which understandably leaves me with a hodgepodge of mixed feelings.
Having said that, I fully plan to leave any negative sentiments for later this weekend, as I invite you all to join me for the 173rd(!) musical celebration of the 80s, my favorite musical decade!
There will be a little bit of everything as we move along; a continuous flow of entertaining chat, some truly stupendous music, and a familiar slide show that has grown to become one of my most faithful performance accomplices in my old age.
And, true to form as I head into my golden years, I will bring the whole thing to an abrupt end promptly at 7:00 PM ET, to make sure I do not miss my progressively early bedtime!
Please join me for a request or two, a piece of dry sheet cake, and a whole slew of (mostly) 80s tunes that will make us all feel a bit younger than the calendar says!
